Meet Our Dedicated Learning Center Staff
Ms. Kelly
Director & Challengers Class
Hello, my name is Ms. Kelly, and I’m the Challengers teacher at TLC. My kids range between 3.5 and 5 years.
I’ve been married for 38 years and have two grown children. I started my career in early childhood education in 1998 as a way to be involved in the school system. I wanted to know what my kids were being taught. My husband and I have always been involved, in one way or another, with various activities that our kids participated in. We were youth leaders as well.
In my class the kids are beginning to learn their letters by sight as well as numbers, colors, and shapes. We are writing our name as well. We read books and sing songs, and do lots of crafts. They learn about love, patience, honesty, manners, listening to others, how to include their friends, personal space, and forgiveness.

Miss Hailie
Cruisers Class
Hi! My name is Hailie, and I am the Cruisers teacher for children ages 2~3. As a Christian teacher, I strive to lead with kindness, patience, and encouragement while helping children build confidence and positive relationships. I love watching children learn through play, creativity, and hands-on experiences, and I feel grateful to be part of such an important stage in their lives.

Miss Cynthia
Waddlers Class
Hi, I’m Cynthia. I work with the fun group of Waddlers.
My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Child development.
I’ve raised five children of my own and now I’m blessed and am enjoying my three grandchildren. Grandchildren are great, aren’t they? I’m happy to be here with Trinity Lutheran Church’s child care program which is a great group of parents and children.
The team of teachers help make this a happy and comfortable place for our little ones.

Mrs. Elina
Caterpillar Class
My name is Elina, and I’m one of the Caterpillars teachers at TLC. I also partner with Miss Cynthia in the Waddlers class, as needed.
I lived and taught English in South Korea for a few years, working with children from pre-k up to 12th grade. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters. Our girls attend TLC while I work, which has been such a blessing. They have really grown in so many ways, and are loved on so much by all the teachers.
The infant class is full of love and snuggles, singing and narrating the goings-on of the daily routine.

Miss Kaysha
Caterpillar Class
Hi, I’m Kaysha! I’m the infant room teacher on Mondays. I currently also work as a certified medical assistant at Kootenai Health. I absolutely love both my jobs. Since I was little, I wanted to work with kids and be in the medical field! I have a baby girl who also attends TLC and she LOVES all of the teachers.
I love spending time with my family, anything outdoors, and trying new restaurants!
