Brothers and Sisters, Keepers of Faith in Christ, May the words of Proverbs 19:17 and Acts 20:35 inspire charity anew within us. "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." Proverbs 19:17 "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive'." Acts 20:35 In giving freely of ourselves in mind, body, and spirit we continually rededicate our hearts to Christ. Whether we are providing care for one who cannot manage on their own, gifting resources to a church, or simply offering a plate of food for one who has none, our gifts of charity and compassion are laid before the cross and blessed by Jesus Himself as He disperses them. We open our lives to God's Mercy, that we may become that very mercy to others. Humbled are we, O Beloved, that You called us to be Your faithful servants. Blessed be your Holy and Precious Name.
